As a Professional Photographer, Kristin stays up to date on proper education, safety training and flu & whooping cough vaccinations. Below are a list of Professional Photographer Accreditation and Associations where she is an active member.
APNPI is a Professional Newborn Photographer’s Association created by newborn photographers specifically for newborn photographers. APNPI formed out of a passion to give professional recognition to Newborn Photographers, and to connect photographers in a safe and respectful place that cultivates the growth of artistry and business acumen amongst it’s membership.
APNPI also connects parents with qualified photographers in their area who are educated in newborn safety practices and have passed a rigorous QNP application process. Additionally the site offers parents valuable resources and tips for everything from choosing a photographer to taking better photographs at home.
Currently, there are no safety regulations in place for the Newborn Photography industry. Anyone who owns a camera can begin photographing newborns with no training and no knowledge of the unique needs of infants. Kristin has completed a safety training course provided by the APNPI at a 100% success rating.
APNPI values and puts newborn safety at the forefront of our profession. For this reason, we are providing you with resources to help you select a safe photographer and help you identify elements of risk throughout your session
“WHEN YOU HIRE A PPA PHOTOGRAPHER, YOU’LL GET SOMEONE WHO NOT ONLY UNDERSTANDS LIGHTING AND CAMERA ANGLES, BUT ALSO SOMEONE WHO KNOWS HOW TO CONSISTENTLY CAPTURE THE REAL YOU.”
Anyone can take a good picture every now and then. But only a pro will know how to capture the time of year, the personalities, the fun, and the love that is behind your story, every time, regardless of the situation or lighting conditions.
PPA photographers are more than picture takers. They know lighting, posing, fashion and even interior design. By combining these elements, they create works of art that match your budget and fit perfectly with your unique personality and style.
All photographers applying for membership must demonstrate exceptional skill, originality and creativity, and professionalism in their respective field of photography.
All PhotographyAssociation.com photographers must meet, and certify to, professional standards in connection with their ongoing membership. Photographers must continue to abide by those standards, to retain active membership status and ongoing inclusion in any PhotographyAssociation.com website, publication, or event.
